Notice of 04-04-22- 09:07 am : Sevier Co has recently seen how a high fire danger can affect the area if a fire starts within the affected area. As a storm approaches the area increased winds and low humidity have increased the fire danger throughout Sevier County. The TN Div of Forestry has indicated that there is a VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER throughout the region.
NO BURN PERMITS ARE BEING ISSUED. Please refrain from any open burning as the increased winds could cause a fire to grow out of control quickly.
