Pigeon Forge River Cottage, unit 581 River Escape, is located just one mile from downtown Pigeon Forge in a subdivision called River Pointe. This cottage sits on stilts which provides a wonderful covered parking area for vehicles and sits right on the shore of the Little Pigeon River and close to the community’s picnic area. When you enter the cabin, you come into the fully furnished kitchen that includes a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. There is a dining table that seats four, and a full-size living room with a leather couch, love seat, and recliner, along with a 40-inch flat screen TV, Blu-Ray player, and a stone encased seasonal gas log fireplace. There are two bedrooms at the cottage, each equipped with king size beds. In the evening you can sit out on the covered back deck and take in the sights and sounds of the Little Pigeon River while you soak after a long day exploring the Great Smoky Mountain area in the hot tub. River Escape is great for the small family or a couple retreat looking to get away and still be close to everything that the Smoky Mountains and Pigeon Forge has to offer. No Pets. Non-Smoking. Sleeps 4.

We loved River Escape. It was home away from home. We don’t do high in the mountains anymore 😊, so this was perfect. The facility was very nice and nicely kept. I want this same home when we return. And might I add the office staff was very nice and friendly and check in and out was easy. Loved it. Brenda

We stayed at river escape again this year. Cabin was relatively clean. beds could be a little softer. One weird thing was, we got unpacked, went to wash our hands and there were 4 bars of soap, but they were completely crumbled. no biggie, just went and bought some hand pumps of hand soap. just couldn't figure out why they put them out, unusable. just minor things. Icemaker needs attention. Makes ice, but it freezes the cubes to container. Cabin was nice, Location is nice. It's about not quite a mile off of parkway, so very convenient to everything. Being that close, it is a very quiet area. Overall, i would recommend staying.
